Today I did something I never thought I could do

I just ran 18.17km (11.3 miles) without stopping or walking

If you don’t know me personally, I am that guy who sits in front of his computer 12 hours a day. I entered this without any prior physical training.

Yet I pushed myself above my limit, bit by bit. I felt like giving up at 1/10 of the entire run. I never felt the “runner’s high” that people talk so much about. It was a torture, especially towards the end.

The only thing that fueled me through this was: I kept on REPRESSING my petty inner voice which was just ANNOYINGLY begging me to stop

This is not about fitness. This is about perseverance.
